division of enrollment management (including admissions, financial aid, registrar and student diversity/excellence offices). This position
is also responsible for the day to day support of the technical and functional office operations related to enrollment management processing
systems of Jenzabar CX, JICS modules. MyHaven and Cognos.
Essential Duties:
1. Function as the point of contact to the IT
Department relating to all functions of Jenzabar CX or JICS utilized by Enrollment Management
2. Function as the point of contact to the
IT Department relating to all functions of external systems as it relates to the input and output of Jenzabar CX or JICS systems for
Enrollment Management
3. Function as the point of contact to the IT Department relating to all SMO updates and new modules relating to
Enrollment Management functionality within Jenzabar CX and JICS
4. Perform quality control audits for enrollment management offices
5. Create ad hoc and custom reports; publish and/or distribute reports to appropriate areas; track and create reports on various cohorts
defined by PASSHE and Institutional Research
6. Assist with technical and functional support for daily processing by Enrollment
Management offices
7. Assist with documenting project priorities, timelines and assessments and documentation of all enrollment
management processes
8. Train Enrollment Management staff on issues relating to functionality of Jenzabar CX, JICS and Cognos
9.
Serve as the main point of contact for the MyHaven portal
10. Maintain sensitivity, understanding and respect for diverse populations
inclusive of students, faculty and staff and participate in student success initiatives
11. Must be able to work as a member of a team
and model exceptional customer service to internal and external customers
12. Other duties as assigned
Specific Duties:
Acts as the liaison between enrollment management offices and the IT department;
Manages MyHaven content and implementation for
enrollment management division;
Develops and manages new system initiatives for enrollment management offices;
Prepares reports
using CARS Student Information System (SIS) and Cognos as requested;
Maintains an active role on university committees and in
professional organizations. Participates in workshops, retreats, seminars, and institutes in order to enhance professional growth and
development;
Performs an integral role in the overall planning and evaluation of the enrollment management division;
Performs other
duties as assigned by the AVP of Enrollment Management.
Minimum Qualifications(Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities):
- Bachelor's degree from regionally accredited institution of higher learning;
- Proficient knowledge in the use of SQL or Cognos;
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience in higher education technology support of financial aid, admissions, registrar, or enrollment management operations;
- Demonstrated skills in using Microsoft Word, Excel and database reporting tools; organizational skills;
- Detail oriented and the ability to meet deadlines and priorities; Able to multi-task and to process high volumes of work with accuracy
5 years of relevant work experience in higher education technology support of financial aid, admissions, registrar, or enrollment management operations
Physical Demands:
Able to sit at a
computer for 7.5 hours per day; Able to effectively communicate in all media including telephone or written avenues
