As a 60Hz model developed by Sany Electric for the U.S. market, SE9320IIIE3 has won recognition from overseas customers and is expected to intensify the competitive power of Sany Electric in the world?s wind power market.? Sany Electric will cooperate with Bureau Veritas to perform international certification for the SE9320IIIIE unit. The certification project commenced in March and the first task is design evaluation.
Bureau Veritas Helps Chinese Wind Power Manufacturers Access Overseas Markets Notably With Wind Turbine Certification
In recent years, China has accomplished outstanding achievements in wind power generation and has become the largest wind turbine manufacturing base in the world. Specifically, many entire-unit manufacturers continuously launch new wind turbines to meet market needs. Meanwhile, many Chinese entire-unit and component manufacturers are also targeting overseas markets. However, many overseas customers impose certification requirements on entire units and component export from China. To overcome this certification barrier and help Chinese manufacturers further open up overseas markets, Bureau Veritas introduced state-of-the-art wind turbine certification and evaluation resources from Europe to China and provides wind turbine type certification services in China.
Why Bureau Veritas?
Authorized by COFRAC, Bureau Veritas performs wind turbine certification around the world in accordance with IEC 61400 standards and the scope of authorized certification includes wind turbine (onshore and offshore) type certification, wind farm project certification, wind turbine component certification.? COFRAC has signed ILAC agreement and EA agreement and has become a member of these two organizations. Certification certificates signed by Bureau Veritas as authorized by COFRAC are generally accepted by key economies around the world. From the certification guideline generally recognized in the international community, IEC 61400-22:2010 issued by International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC), specifies the procedures and rules for wind turbine certification.
