Full Sail University (http://www.fullsail.edu ) is proud to serve as the host location for the Florida International Piano Competition?s Piano Concert Series (http://www.floridapiano.org ), taking place on Sunday, October 17, 2010 in the Full Sail Live venue. This community event will provide a program complete with arias, art songs and solo pieces by Hahn, Chopin, and Rachmaninov, and will feature renowned soprano, Sharon Christman and the award-winning pianist, Ivo Kaltchev.
The Piano Concert Series, which was created by The Florida International Piano Competition, a non-profit community arts organization dedicated to sharing the talent, beauty and importance of piano through competition and performance both in Central Florida and throughout the world, is another example of the diversity of musical talent that has come through the Full Sail University campus.

During the afternoon event, attendees will have the opportunity to experience the performances of soprano, Sharon Christman, who has sung in lead roles with numerous opera companies including the Dallas Opera, New York City Opera and The Metropolitan Opera. Also featured is the award-winning pianist, Ivo Kaltchev who has performed in musical centers throughout the world including: Lincoln Center?s Alice Tully Hall, The Kennedy Center, The Library of Congress and the St. Petersburg Philharmonic Hall.
